First Weekend: ATLS in MRCEM OSCE

Failure in the ATLS MRCEM OSCE station may result in failure of the MRCEM exam.

You simply cannot take a chance on ATLS stations.

New Trauma Teaching Course – Limited Places Available

(Only 5 seats open for external doctors)

London Global Emergency Medicine is proud to introduce a brand-new 4-hour focused trauma teaching session, designed specifically for candidates preparing for the MRCEM OSCE.

This is the first time we are offering this course to external candidates, giving you a clear insight into what examiners truly expect in trauma stations.

Course Dates: 11th–12th April 2026

Time: 10:00–12:00 UK time (Saturday & Sunday)

Fee: £50

Seats: Only 5 (for external candidates)

Why this course?

Many candidates struggle with trauma and resuscitation stations—not due to a lack of ATLS knowledge, but because the exam demands advanced clinical reasoning, decision-making, and communication under pressure.

These stations test far beyond basics, including:

• Managing polytrauma cases

• Making rapid decisions (CT vs theatre vs FAST)

• Handling referrals and challenging scenarios

• Anticipating deterioration and escalation (ventilation, inotropes)

• Communicating effectively within tight 8-minute stations

Failing resuscitation stations is one of the most common reasons for failing the exam, making focused preparation essential.

What you’ll get:

• Practice of 6 high-yield trauma stations

• Realistic mock exam scenarios

• Constructive, personalised feedback

• Teaching by experienced consultants with 15+ years of examining and teaching experience

• Exposure to challenging post-station questions

• 4 hours CME certification upon completion

Affordable access

We understand not everyone can attend full MRCEM courses—this focused session is available for just £50.

Ideal for:

• Non-training doctors

• International graduates

• Candidates needing targeted trauma practice
